7:00 Saturday CW Ride

The Saturday GHCC/CW Shop Ride is a fast-paced 35 and 45 mile ride. The ride splits in Simsbury. The ride varies from sustained tempo to a series of attacks on hills and flats. This ride demands advanced group riding skills and a high level of fitness. The average speed of the ride is about 19 mph, with speeds approaching 30+ mph on flat portions of the ride. The ride re-groups approxemently 5 times at designated locations.

• WHERE

    Central Wheel, 62 Farmington Ave, Farmington, CT 06032

• WHEN

    Riders meet at or before 7:00am and the group rolls out by 7:05am 

• DISTANCE

    The group splits into the 45 mile ride and the 35 mile ride

• RULES AND GUIDELINES

• Helmets are required

• No tri-bars

• No earbuds or headphones

• No grocery store water bottles

• No cellphone use during rides. OK at re-group stops of course

• Turn your rear "blinky" lights off
