tour de sunday/riverton Ride

The Tour de Sunday/Riverton ride is an endurance pace ride with a few segments where riders can "open it up" to a fast pace. This is a no drop ride and will re-group as needed. We ride to the Riverton General Store and stop for coffee, snacks and conversation. This is a popular ride that has between 15 and 25 riders each week.

• WHERE

    Meets at Stop&Shop, Farmington Ave. in West Hartford. We pick up additonal riders at Starbucks in  

    Farmington, Rt. 4

• WHEN

    Sunday mornings weather permitting. Riders meet at or before 9:00am at S&S and the group rolls out   by 9:05am. We stop for additional riders at Starbucks at approx 9:15

• DISTANCE

    The ride is approx. 45-55 miles, depending on where a rider lives and joins the ride

• RULES AND GUIDELINES

• Helmets are required

• No tri-bars

• No earbuds or headphones

• No grocery store water bottles

• No cellphone use during rides. OK at re-group stops of course

• Turn your rear "blinky" lights off
